Grab an extra layer and head out this weekend because the city is bustling with fun and unique activities—many of them holiday-related.

Start it off tonight with the second-annual North Beach Holiday Walk before checking out a silent skate party in Union Square, a double film feature at the Tenderloin Museum, or some experimental standup, comedy and live music at PianoFight.

On Friday, check out adoptable kittens from the SFACC, swing by Hayes Valley for caroling and snow sledding, and support one of the year's last fundraising efforts for North Bay fire victims in the Mission.

Good news for Star Wars fans: not only is there a book signing in SoMa on Saturday for The Art of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, bt there's also a light saber battle in Mission Bay and a Star Wars-themed dance party at the DNA Lounge.

Later that evening, there's an ugly holiday sweater pub crawl on Polk Street, a merry misfit cabaret in the FiDi and the San Francisco Symphony performs the score to the holiday classic Home Alone

Wrap it up on Sunday with an artisan holiday gift fair in Mission Bay, a screening of a rarely-seen Robyn Hitchcock concert film in SoMa and a free vegetarian potlock dinner in Parkside.
