'Warby Parker' Makes Union Square Debut, With Eyewear And MorePhoto: SF G./Yelp

In need of new eyewear? Warby Parker has opened a new location in Union Square at 216 Stockton St. (between Maiden Ln. & Geary St.)

Warby Parker, which has another store at 357 Hayes St. in Hayes Valley, specializes in prescription eyewear that's custom-ordered for each individual. Offering an array of eyeglasses and sunglasses in a variety of styles, the 61-store chain also carries glasses with low nose bridges.

The new location has on-site opticians to take all the necessary optical measurements—and if the fit is not quite right, adjustments can be made on-site while you wait.

Each Warby Parker store showcases artwork specific to its location. The Union Square spot features "a playful façade" of pets wearing glasses designed by artist Roman Muradov.

With just two reviews on Yelp thus far, Warby Parker currently has a five-star rating.

Laurie S., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on December 2nd, said: "Extremely nice store and friendly staff. They were incredibly helpful, ensuring that my glasses fit perfectly. Everyone working seemed passionate and knowledgeable about the company."

Intrigued? Warby Parker is open Monday–Saturday from 10am–7pm, and Sunday from 11am–6pm.
