2 Armed Youths Carjack Teen In Outer Sunset

A teenager driving in the Outer Sunset last night was carjacked by two armed males who may have been younger than the victim, police reported.

The incident occurred on the 1100 block of Taraval Street between 21st and 22nd avenues at 7:50pm when a 17-year-old male parked his car and was approached by another teen approximately 15 or 16 years old.

The suspect pulled out a gun and ordered the victim to let him take the car. After the victim exited his vehicle, the suspect got into the car with another male who was 15 or 16 and fled west on Taraval before turning north on 22nd Avenue.

Officers from Taraval Station, which is located two blocks away, responded to the scene. As of this writing, no arrest has been made, and the vehicle was not recovered.
