Fillmore District Road Rage Ends In Gunfire

An altercation between two drivers ended in gunfire early this morning in the Western Addition, according to SFPD.

In the incident, a 31-year-old man was driving east on Golden Gate Avenue near Gough Street at 1:17am when a male suspect pulled up in his vehicle and began yelling at him.

According to SFPD spokesperson Officer Giselle Linnane, the suspect then tapped the victim's car using a maneuver that caused the driver to lose to control as the vehicle spun around and came to a stop.

At that point, the suspect fired a handgun at the victim and fled the scene. The victim was not injured, and no description of the suspect or his vehicle was released.
