Bay Area Man Mysteriously Vanishes on Yosemite Hike: Desperate Search ContinuesLinkedin

Hayden T. Klemenok, a Bay Area native, has been missing since Sunday, July 2nd, after venturing into Chilnualna Creek near the trail junction while on a hike through Yosemite National Park with a group, as reported by CBS News San Francisco.

Last seen at Upper Chilnualna Fall around 2 p.m., park officials are now reaching out to the public for any assistance in locating the missing backpacker. Klemenok was wearing a tan, brimmed hat, white sunglasses, a red t-shirt, blue swimming trunks, and white Adidas shoes at the time of his disappearance, according to NBC Bay Area.

Originally from the Bay Area, Klemenok studied at Santa Rosa Junior College between 2017 and 2020, as per his LinkedIn profile. Before his disappearance, he was living in San Diego and working as a financial analyst at a realty company, following his graduation from San Diego State University.

Officials are urging visitors who may have seen Klemenok or hikers off the trail in the area of Upper Chilnualna Fall since Sunday to get in touch in hopes of focusing the search. "Simply knowing where you went and when you were there may help us focus the search, whether you saw anyone or not," said park officials in a statement shared by SFGate.

Anyone who has any information about Hayden Klemenok's whereabouts or may have stumbled upon any vital clues is urged to email [email protected] or call the park's dispatch number at 209-379-1992, as reported by multiple sources.
