On September 2, a home in Vallejo, California, became the target of a burglary. The homeowners arrived to find an adult male carrying a backpack, hastily exiting their premises. The damage had been done, with valuables worth over $2,000 missing from their residence. Despite their efforts to pursue the suspect, he managed to flee the scene, leaving the homeowners feeling helpless and violated according to a Vallejo Police Department post.

These homeowners, determined to recover their stolen possessions, utilized a tracking device to pinpoint the location of their property. Beginning their pursuit, little did the homeowners know that their quest for justice would soon pay off.

The very next day, September 3rd, technology led the homeowners to the suspect in a parking lot on the 4300 block of Sonoma Blvd. Immediately, they contacted the authorities and provided the location of the perpetrator per the Vallejo Police Department.

Upon arrival, the officers discovered the man still wearing one of the stolen watches on his wrist. The homeowners had a victorious moment in which they identified the thief, the same individual they had seen fleeing their residence just a day before. The suspect was detained, and most of the stolen items were retrieved from the man's backpack.
