In the early morning darkness of Springfield, a potential disaster was narrowly averted at a local residence.
Firefighters swiftly arrived to tackle a car fire that had spread to a portion of the nearby house.

This incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. earlier today, at 14 Fairmount St. Thanks to the vigilant response of the crews, the structure was spared from more extensive damage according to WWLP.
Miraculously, no injuries were reported, leaving the residents grateful and unharmed as the house suffered only minor damage as per Springfield Fire Department's statement.
