On October 5, a high-speed chase carried out by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Oakland officers resulted in one arrest and the recovery of an unregistered firearm, 20 pounds of marijuana, and $33,500 in cash.

According to a CHP Oakland Facebook post, officers chased the suspects, driving a silver Dodge Durango, into San Francisco.

During the chase, the passenger, reportedly exited the vehicle to attempt to flee on foot with the firearm, drugs, and cash. He was arrested later, on multiple weapons and drug violations.
