On Friday, a 31-year-old driver from Los Banos was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) due to a traffic violation on McCarthy Bl. Two similar incidents also took place over the weekend involving different age group residents from nearby areas like Hayward.

On Saturday, there was a swift response to an incident involving a vehicle linked to organized retail theft. The Automated License Plate Readers (ALPR) crucially assisted in locating this vehicle, hence leading to the apprehension of a suspect with a felony no-bail warrant. 

Throughout the weekend, there were occurrences that exuded a peculiar charm. An instance highlighted is at a local restaurant, where a suspect carried out a food theft and then sped off in his stolen vehicle, a Toyota Prius. The brazen display of stolen food in the passenger seat and the suspect’s eventual arrest at a nearby gym augment the absurdity of this particular incident.
