A 17-year-old girl and her friends were threatened at gunpoint in a Petaluma parking garage on C Street. This incident occurred at approximately 9:48 PM on Thursday, according to a press release by the Petaluma Police Department.

The girls were in the C Street Garage when they were approached by two unidentified Hispanic male juveniles. The pair began yelling at the girls, who tried to run but were pursued by the males. In a terrifying escalation, one of the boys purportedly pulled out a black semi-automatic firearm from his waistband and aimed it at the girls. The girls were unharmed and screamed for help, which led to the suspects fleeing.

According to Sergeant Ryan Suhrke of the Petaluma police, the girls who were threatened described their attackers as two Hispanic male juveniles, each around 16 years old. One was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, while the other sported a grey version.

No shots were reportedly fired during the incident and the girls were unharmed. Despite an extensive search of the area, the police were unable to locate the suspects. The Petaluma Police Department is continuing their investigation and is seeking any witnesses or surveillance footage that could assist in identifying the suspects.
