A JetBlue airplane and a pushback tractor collided on the tarmac at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on Monday afternoon. The aircraft, Flight 534, was en route to Boston when the incident occurred. No injuries were reported, passengers were safely evacuated, and alternate flights were arranged. The offending aircraft is currently under review and temporarily out of service according to the SF Standard.
The collision resulted in a significant travel delay - making the flight arrive in Boston 10 hours later than scheduled. Footage of the after-effects of this unusual encounter was to be shared by a traveler on social media as revealed by CBS San Francisco.
