Martin Cerda, a 35-year-old San Francisco resident, faces multiple felony counts related to vehicle theft. The San Francisco District Attorney's official press release indicates Cerda was arrested on November 1, suspected of driving a stolen car with intent to burglarize another vehicle. He was allegedly in possession of a loaded semi-automatic pistol and additional stolen property.

Cerda pled not guilty at his arraignment on November 3. He is charged with firearm possession by a felon, carrying a concealed firearm, and unlawful vehicle usage among others. To try to avoid highlighting his previous felony convictions, he denied all allegations in the criminal complaint.

His next court date is set for November 17. If found guilty on all accounts, Cerda could spend up to four years and eight months in state prison.
