Early yesterday, a vigilant citizen reported a mail theft in Vacaville, leading to the arrest of suspect Jasmine Huff, with the assistance of Vacaville Police Department officers. However, her accomplice evaded capture and is still at large.

The Police Department's Facebook post revealed that after responding to the theft report, an officer spotted Huff and her accomplice on bicycles. Despite their efforts to evade, the officers quickly set up a perimeter and initiated a search.

Huff, a 29-year-old Vacaville resident was found hidden in nearby vegetation. She and two backpacks filled with stolen mail and a notebook containing around 20 individuals' personal information, were discovered near her location.

Arrested on multiple charges, Huff is in custody while her yet-to-be-captured accomplice remains a concern.
