The San Jose Police Department's Foothill Patrol Officers made the streets just a bit safer with their latest apprehension—a pedestrian packing illegal heat.
According to a post from the official San Jose PD, on the eve of December 1st, Foothill Division patrol officers initiated a pedestrian stop that quickly turned into a chase. The suspect, deciding to leg it, didn't get far before the law caught up. The unnamed perp was found with an untraceable, loaded ghost gun.
Yesterday, Patrol Officers conducted a pedestrian stop in Foothill Division. The suspect fled on foot but was apprehended a short distance later. The pedestrian was found to be in possession of a loaded ghost gun and was prohibited from owning firearms.
