In a chaotic turn of events, a car barreled its way into an occupied Cherryland home on Saturday, giving locals quite a shock as Alameda County firefighters scrambled to the scene. The Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) reported that tackling the aftermath was no small feat, as firefighters waged a 20-minute battle to free the driver from the wreck.
Following the successful extrication, the unnamed driver was whisked away to Eden Medical Center, with their medical status hanging in the balance, as per an ACFD post.
