Car thieves had their joyride scrubbed clean at a car wash when deputies caught up to them, leading to a pair of arrests in Harris County. According to the official Facebook page of Constable Mark Herman's Office, Harris County constables recovered a stolen vehicle at a local car wash on FM 1960 Road East, nabbing two individuals linked to the heist yesterday.

While deputies were en route to the scene, they spotted the potentially stolen vehicle being spruced up with a wash, inside, Corynn Mosley was detained without incident, already known to authorities as she was out on a $10,000 bond for a prior possession of a controlled substance charge. Melvin Cupp, the second suspect, decided to bolt from the scene on foot but, despite his attempt to evade justice, deputies were hot on his heels and managed to bring him into custody, it turned out Cupp was on parole at the time of his arrest.

During the vehicle search, constables hit pay dirt finding 1.15 grams of methamphetamine tucked away inside. In the aftermath of the chase and arrest, Constable Herman declared, "They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Corynn Mosley was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Melvin Cupp was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading." The consequences of their alleged actions are pending as their bond and court information remain unset.
