Robert Jaegers, a 71-year-old Palm Beach County resident, was found dead in the Hungryland Preserve area. His cause of death is currently under investigation, with authorities yet to determine how he met his end.

Jaegers was first reported missing early Tuesday, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement. According to Boca News Now, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office had sought the public's help, providing a description of Jaegers as standing 5'11" tall, weighing 185 lbs, with salt & pepper hair, blue eyes, and last seen donning basketball shorts, a shirt, and black sneakers. Not much was known about where he was last spotted before being reported missing.

The news of his discovery broke after deputies from both Martin and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Offices located Jaegers' remains. "Next of kin has been notified, MCSO says," reported CBS12 as they brought the community up-to-date on this unfortunate event. With no visible signs of trauma found on the body, the Martin County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Detectives are taking the lead to unravel the mystery surrounding Jaegers' death.
