The Mill Valley Police Department responded to reports on Saturday in the 100 block of Molino Avenue at around 12:30 PM after witnesses spotted the defaced flags.
An investigation swiftly ensued, with officers canvassing the area to identify and bring to justice those responsible possibly. Mill Valley Police Chief Rick Navarro condemned the vandalism, stating, "The Mill Valley Police Department and our staff stand firmly with the City of Mill Valley against all forms of hate and discrimination."
