A chaotic scene erupted on Route 93 South in Braintree, Massachusetts yesterday afternoon when a bullet, fired during a road rage altercation on the opposite side of the highway, struck an innocent motorist's vehicle. The Massachusetts State Police reported that the incident occurred around 2:50 PM and patrols from the Milton Barracks were quickly on the scene.

According to a statement released by the State Police, a potential road rage skirmish unfolded between two vehicles on the northbound side. Amid the confrontation, a shot was fired, traveling over the median and hitting a southbound car that was unconnected to the fracas. Trapped in an ordeal not of his making, the driver of the southbound car suffered what police described as "an extremely minor injury" and declined medical treatment.
