In the 23300 block of Sandpiper Trails, a hit-and-run incident rattled the community on April 21, prompting an immediate investigation by local law enforcement. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were quick to respond to the scene of the crash, where it was quickly discovered that the driver responsible for the accident had fled the location. However, the diligence of the deputies paid off when they managed to track down the suspect vehicle shortly after.

In a turn of events, law enforcement officers were able to not only locate but also identify the alleged perpetrator, Wilburt Bradford. "Wilburt Bradford was booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid. His bond was set at $500.00 out of County Court 12." Constable Mark Herman stated in a Facebook post. 

Details surrounding the circumstances of the hit-and-run remain sparse. Bradford now faces the legal repercussions of his alleged actions, with the court taking a stance on the matter. The suspect remains in custody, awaiting further legal proceedings that will ultimately determine the consequences of the incident.
