A Lucerne Valley man has been cuffed after allegedly attacking his girlfriend while she cradled their infant, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department. Tyler Freeman, 24, was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of felony spousal abuse following a 911 call made the previous evening.

Around 6:17 p.m. on Monday, deputies dashed to the scene on the 9200 block of Chickasaw Trail. When authorities reached, Freeman had already left the scene, found with the victim suffering from visible injuries confirming the assault. Fortunately, the infant was unharmed in the incident, according to the sheriff’s department report.

By approximately 9:19 a.m. the next day, officers located Freeman and took him into custody without further ado. The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department has stated that the investigation is still underway. They encourage anyone with information about the incident to reach out to Deputy A.
