Atlanta police are on the hunt for a sneaky thief who plundered a home on Oakdale Road NE, in the Oakland City area, making off with a vehicle and a slew of bank cards. The break-in occurred while the homeowners were asleep and was first noticed on the morning of May 3, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. The residents reported a 2005 Toyota Rav4 stolen from their driveway, and a backpack – which contained bank cards – missing from their kitchen counter.

The household awoke to a rude awakening when they found that not only their vehicle was gone, but their banking cards had already been put to use at various locations. Indeed, one of these fraudulent transactions was caught on a surveillance camera, giving the authorities a glimpse of the suspect, according to Atlanta News First. Local law enforcement hopes that this footage leads to more leads and eventually, the capture of the culprit.

Atlanta police have made an appeal to the community, urging anyone with information to step forward. Individuals can submit tips anonymously, and there's an incentive – a reward up to $2,000 awaits anyone whose intel leads to the resolution of this case.
