The Boerne Animal Academy welcomes middle schoolers who are passionate about our furry and feathered friends. According to an official announcement, the camp caters to students set to enter 6th to 8th grade come autumn.

This experience, taking place in the Boerne Police Department Training Room at 124 Old San Antonio Road, will run through the first four Saturdays of June. Each session kicks off at 11 a.m. and wraps up by 12:30 p.m. Spaces are limited, and registration is first-come, first-served.

The Do-Not-Miss curriculum is lined up with an array of engaging topics. The series starts on June 1 with a veterinarian and Police K9 demonstration that's sure to captivate. On June 8, attendees will dive deep into animal care and get a peek at some exotic creatures. Mid-month, on June 15, pros from the San Antonio Zoo will step into the limelight to share their knowledge. And finally, on June 22, the Domestic Animal Education session will include an appearance by Happy Tails Petty Zoo to offer an up-close look at some beloved animal pals.

The Boerne Animal Academy provides an exceptional opportunity for kiddos to learn from experienced professionals while making tangible connections with animals.
