A deadly outbreak of violence shook a Dallas neighborhood after an 18-year-old male was shot on Murdeaux Lane, prompting a full-scale police investigation. According to the Dallas Police Department, officers rushed to the 100 block of S. Murdeaux Lane following a shooting call at approximately 6:50 pm on May 3.

The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed pending family notification, was discovered wounded at the scene, soon after, Dallas Fire-Rescue whisked him away to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
