The DeKalb County Police Department is rolling out the red carpet for their local heroes, fallen but not forgotten. In a move of solemn recognition, the community is beckoned to convene at the DeKalb History Center this Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. According to information released on their official website, the annual Fallen Officers Memorial Service is set to remember the valor of the fallen law enforcement officers across DeKalb County.

Every May, law enforcement agencies pay homage in recognition of the nationwide tribute to officers who laid down their lives.
