Tragedy struck Allegan County, Mich., when a four-wheeler crash claimed the life of an individual on private property. According to the Allegan County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at the scene near 30th Street and 137th Avenue in Salem Township around 7:20 p.m. Saturday following a report of the accident.

The police performed life-saving measures upon their arrival, but their efforts were in vain. "Despite life-saving measures," the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the Allegan County Sheriff's Office stated by WZZM 13. There were no road closures as a result of the incident which occurred on private property.

Sources have not yet released the name of the driver involved in the crash. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing. "Officials are not releasing the name of the driver at this time," was reported by FOX 17 Online.
