A manhunt is underway in Jefferson County as the sheriff's department searches for a stabbing suspect described as a white male in his mid-twenties to thirties, sporting blonde hair and distinctive tattoos. The incident in question took place Sunday on Old Airport Road, a thoroughfare in the quiet enclave of White Pine, authorities said.

The scuffle leading to the stabbing occurred allegedly after a near-miss vehicular incident involving the victim and a gray, older model Honda with black rims. In a statement obtained by WVLT, the victim reported that the car almost struck him before coming to an abrupt halt. What followed was an exchange of heated words between the man and a passenger from the vehicle, culminating in the passenger inflicting a non-life threatening stab wound upon the victim's back.

Details provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office to local media describe the suspect as having a tattoo under his right eye and another on his right bicep. However, this identifying information has not led to an immediate arrest, with the authorities still in pursuit of the individual in question.
