North Houston Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Theft Arrest, Suspect Held on $1,000 BailSource: Facebook/Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4

In a routine patrol turned arrest, Constable Mark Herman's deputies apprehended a man on a felony theft warrant last week in North Houston. The suspect, identified as Ruben Rios, was pulled over in the 26600 block of North Werrington Way, an encounter that led to his capture.

During the traffic stop conducted on May 3, which started as a commonplace check, deputies say they discovered Rios was wanted for more than a driving infraction and had an open felony theft warrant against him. The arrest was confirmed in a statement provided by the Constable's Office.

"Ruben Rios was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the Felony Warrant. His bond was set at $1,000.00 out of the 177th District Court." said Constable Herman. He is now behind bars waiting to be summoned before the local judiciary, where Rios will confront the legal consequences of actions past.
