A 26-year-old man has been slapped with cuffs and charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, according to Seattle police. The suspect's spree of terrorizing victims via online ads, and then robbing them at gunpoint in their own homes, has come to a jarring halt thanks to the efforts of Seattle Police Robbery Detectives and SWAT.

For weeks now, the detectives had their noses to the grindstone, combing through a rash of heists in both the East and West Precinct areas of Seattle. The pattern was clear: the suspect played a cunning game, luring his targets through online ads before meeting them in their most private sanctuaries, only to betray their trust with the flash of a firearm and demands for their hard-earned cash, Seattle PD Blotter reports.

But come May 6th, his reign was brought to a decisive end. The robber was tracked down to a residence north of Seattle, and with the precision of a well-oiled machine, the SWAT team swooped in to make the arrest. The detectives were hot on the suspect's trail and, after obtaining the necessary legal writ, they were able to procure evidence that could potentially seal the suspect's fate—a duo of firearms among various other incriminating items.

Now behind bars at the King County Jail, the suspect faces four charges of Robbery in the 1st Degree.
