The pursuit concluded with bodycam footage capturing the moment of surrender. The driver, since identified as Dedrick Cardel Hartsfield, acknowledged his capture with a resigned "You got me, bro," as reported by WSBTV. The police, in an earlier attempt, found the driver trying to get away and then prevented him from fleeing further, leading to his eventual acquiescence.

Sandy Springs PD was unequivocal about their stance on criminal activity in their jurisdiction, saying, "Stop coming to Sandy Springs to commit your felonious acts. We will not stop until you are caught. We will chase you until the wheels fall off," the Sandy Springs Police Department cited, as per FOX 5 Atlanta. Following Hartsfield’s capture, officials discovered the Camaro was reported stolen and charges were looming.

Hartsfield now faces a slew of charges, including theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, removal of motor vehicle identification number, and attempting to misrepresent tag, the police revealed.
