University of Arizona Brings Top-Ranked Master of Science in Business Analytics Program to ChandlerSource: City of Chandler, Arizona

The University of Arizona is dipping its toes into Chandler's educational waters by offering a new Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program at its Near You Network location Downtown, starting this fall. The top-10 public graduate online business analytics program, as ranked by U.S. News & World Report, is set to merge into the city's landscape of higher learning, bringing with it a wealth of STEM-designated courses encompassing machine learning, data visualization, and artificial intelligence.

As Chandler gears up for a further influx of academically driven traffic, the University looks forward to enrolling the program's first student group. "The MS in Business Analytics significantly enhances our academic program offerings in Chandler," said Dr. Craig Wilson, Vice Provost for Online, Distance and Continuing Education, according to the City of Chandler's news release. The MSBA program aligns with the much-needed hard skills that top corporations crave, taught by world-class faculty across various business domains.

Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke has expressed his pleasure at the partnership, stating, "We appreciate the University of Arizona's support in building the workforce of tomorrow here in Chandler." Long having eyed higher education collaborations as key to the city's strategic growth, Chandler anticipates that the university's presence will foster even greater community development and economic prosperity.

On the heels of UArizona's announcement, Chandler's officials seem to be on the edge of their seats with enthusiasm. "We are excited to see the University of Arizona continue to expand its offerings to serve our residents, workforce, and business community, the City of Chandler's Economic Development Director, Micah Miranda, told the news release. Chandler's workforce will be bolstered and the paths to rewarding careers for graduates, with the launch of the MSBA program, clearly laid out.

The time to apply for the Eller MSBA program is ticking away fast; with a June 1 deadline for the 2024 cohort, prospective students can pick between a 10- or 16-month schedule. Adopting a hybrid format that combines online groundwork with in-person instruction at the downtown Chandler facility, the University even offers an added sweetener: a promotional scholarship for early birds joining the inaugural Chandler group.
