The US Marshals are on the lookout for 42-year-old Arturo Vela-Ochoa, who is wanted for allegedly violating the conditions of his supervised release. Vela-Ochoa, who has a federal warrant out for his arrest, failed to report to his probation officer after serving an 8-month sentence for illegal re-entry into the United States in 2022.

Vela-Ochoa was supposed to be under supervision for three years post-release; however, deputies claim he breached the terms set forth. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds, Vela-Ochoa is not difficult to spot – especially with a distinctive teardrop tattoo on the right side of his eye, according to FOX San Antonio.

His last reported address was on the West side of San Antonio. Local authorities are hoping that community members can aid in locating Vela-Ochoa, encouraging anyone with information to come forward. The effort to track down Vela-Ochoa is part of the broader US Marshals mission to apprehend individuals who flout the laws governing their freedom following incarceration.

Any current whereabouts of Vela-Ochoa, remain unknown at this time. Law enforcement encourages the public to assist in the search; however, warn anyone who might encounter him to exercise caution.
