An 18-year-old male has been slapped with three felony charges after being arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies in Warrenville, Illinois. According to the Chicago Police Department, the young man was picked up by the Vehicular Hijacking Task Force on the 0-100 block of W. 200 Ferry Rd on May 8.

The individual is accused of having forcibly taken property at gunpoint from three men on February 11 in the 6700 block of S. Green St. Reports indicate that the suspect brandished a firearm during the heists. After an extensive investigation, he was identified as the alleged gunman and subsequently arrested and charged. Police have yet to release any further details on the case.

While the legal proceedings continue to develop, the authorities have emphasized the importance of community vigilance and cooperation in preventing and solving crimes.
