
A woman in her 50s was found dead in a swimming pool at a north-side San Antonio home Wednesday morning, prompting an investigation by local authorities. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office reported that emergency crews received a distress call around 8:30 a.m. following a pool cleaner's discovery of the body in the 15000 block of Lofty Heights near Bitters Road, as detailed by KENS 5.
The deceased, identified as a housekeeper by investigators, had not been seen since around 3 p.m. on Tuesday. According to authorities, empty alcohol beverages were found near the pool area, although, no foul play is suspected at this time. Deputies confirmed to FOX San Antonio that a pool cleaner arrived at the private residence and found the woman had drowned.
