
A fatal incident occurred in Shadow Hills on Wednesday morning when a car caught fire, resulting in one death. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene on the 10200 block of West Lanark Street just after 9 a.m., following reports of an unconscious person inside a burning vehicle. KTLA reports that the firefighters who arrived could not offer medical help as the individual was already deceased.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department's alerts, the victim's age and gender have not been disclosed. The fire department stayed on the scene to manage the incident and suppress the flames.
As of now, no further information has been provided by officials regarding the investigation's progress. The LAPD has also been involved in the incident, referenced as LAPD INC#1293, as per the LAFD.
