
Chaos briefly reigned on Florida's Turnpike early today, as a vehicle fire in Osceola County drew a curtain of smoke and uncertainty over the morning commute. According to ClickOrlando, the incident near Kenansville led to a temporary blockade of all northbound lanes, inevitably bringing traffic to a grinding halt and prompting detours.
The incident happened near mile marker 201. While crews worked to control the fire and calm the situation, the cause and whether anyone was injured remained unknown. According to FOX 35 Orlando, it’s not yet clear what started the blaze.
More updates are expected as the investigation continues. Authorities are still looking into the details of the crash, which temporarily brought traffic on the Turnpike to a standstill.
