The San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) SF Shines Holiday Display Project activates small business storefronts during the holiday season by providing creative, eye-catching storefront displays. This pilot project, the first of its kind in San Francisco, matched ten small businesses in the Excelsior with five creative partners who worked directly with small business owners to design, create, and install temporary holiday window displays that reflect the brand and goods or services offered by the business. Excelsior Action Group was chosen as the partner for this pilot to build upon their past holiday window display competition. This year’s installations will be on display from Thanksgiving to January 12, 2018.
