Thieves wielding guns shook down a South Shore 7-Eleven early on April 17, prompting an arrest of two adults and one teenager, Norwell police said. The robbery, which took place at 95 Washington Street, occurred when three males entered the store at approximately 4:18 am, brandishing two handguns and forcing the clerk to hand over the cash before fleeing in a black sedan.

Armed with details of the getaway vehicle, Norwell detectives, in a collaborative effort supported by Quincy Police and Lowell Police, tracked down the trio, including an adult and a juvenile from Lowell, and another adult from Revere. All accused individuals will face the judge at Hingham District Court on robbery and assault charges. Leaving the area, the black sedan was seen heading toward Hingham.

As reported by the Norwell Police Department on Facebook one of the suspects confronted the seriousness of "Armed Robbery While Masked and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon," while his accomplices are charged with "Armed Robbery While Masked." Norwell Police Department made it clear that the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
