It appears that tight end Travis Kelce couldn't keep himself from doubling over in laughter after watching the star-studded roast of NFL legend Tom Brady. The Kansas City Chiefs' player commented on the comedic affair during the latest installment of his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce. Kelce admitted, “Man, that is, yeah, that was unbelievable. First off, everybody involved. Hats off. I've been in tears the whole like, last, like day just watching the clips and everything,” as he praised the lighthearted atmosphere of the event. He highlighted  “I commend everybody because nobody seemed to get like, their feelings hurt. It was kind of, it just looked like everybody was having fun with it. Yeah. But at the same time, man, that s--- had me rolling because of how at everybody's neck people were going,” according to remarks he made on the podcast, and reported by People.

Further, Kelce had a few words about a well-known figure in roast culture, Jeff Ross. He recalled a pleasant experience with Ross, “I met Jeff Ross out in L.A. at one of the Comedy Stores out there,” according to a conversation highlighted by NBC Philadelphia. Kelce contemplated the notion of being on the receiving end of a Ross roast, stating, “So it’d be an honor to get roasted by Jeff but yeah, maybe that day will come.”

On the flip side, Jason Kelce, Travis's brother, has a different take on the whole roast scenario. Despite acknowledging the sheer entertainment value, Jason admitted having a tough time wrapping his head around the concept of celebrity roasts. “It was pure entertainment and I’m really happy they did it, but I just do not get the roasts. I don’t understand why people do them. Maybe I take myself too seriously,” he confided to NBC Philadelphia. Jason goes on to describe the event's atmosphere as filled with NFL heavyweights and celebrities, commemorating the Patriots dynasty and their star quarterback, Tom Brady.

Travis Kelce appeared thoroughly entertained by the event and the performance of Brady, who didn't shy away from poking fun at the Chiefs. “Everybody involved, hats off,” Kelce said. Reflecting on the nature of roasts, Jason Kelce pointed out the remarkable turnout and the star power present to honor the football icon. The elder Kelce sibling appreciated the nostalgia, reminiscing on the Patriots' era of dominance that shaped a significant part of NFL history, as shared with NBC Philadelphia.
