A deadly dispute erupted in Dallas following a minor car crash at the intersection of North Masters Drive and Carolina Oaks Drive, police said. In a violent turn of events on May 2, what began as a minor collision at around 7:00 p.m. led to a chaotic scuffle involving individuals unrelated to the accident, resulting in gunfire that left a teenager dead and two others wounded.

According to details released by the Dallas Police Department, when officers arrived on the scene, they discovered three shooting victims. Tragically taken to a local hospital, a 16-year-old succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased. The identity of the young victim has been withheld due to their age.

A second individual, sustaining a shot to the foot, was reported to be in stable condition after being transported to a hospital. The third victim, suffering from minor injuries, managed to self-transport to receive medical attention. The Dallas community was shaken by the incident, which currently remains under investigation with case number 068759-2024.
