The Houston police have distributed surveillance snapshots of the suspect vehicle, a silver hatchback, potentially a Toyota Rav4, connected to the fatal shooting that occurred May 1, the department revealed.

At around 4:20 a.m., officers were called out to a convenience store at 6802 Cullen Boulevard. There, they discovered Eric Johnson, unresponsive with an evident gunshot wound. Johnson was hurriedly transported to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Burrow, underscored the urgency of the situation. “A preliminary investigation has identified the vehicle pictured below as the suspect(s) vehicle.” The division has made a public plea, requesting that anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect and/or the suspect's vehicle contact HPD Homicide Division or to anonymously tip off Crime Stoppers.

The investigation has been shrouded in mystery with the suspect(s) remaining unidentified and at large. In an effort to gather more information and aid in the apprehension of the suspect(s), the release of the surveillance photos is attached to the news release.
