A melee at Worcester's Union Station lands one man behind bars, the local police force reports. The dust-up, which occurred yesterday around 11:15 AM, prompted a sergeant to summon backup at the transportation hub.

Upon arrival, Worcester Police found a 35-year-old bleeding from the face. Officers stepped in and separated those tangled in the altercation. According to a statement from the Worcester Police Department, Ahjee Keyon Damon, aged 29, was identified as the attacker who had allegedly dealt multiple kicks to the victim's head.

As law enforcement investigated further, they found that Damon was already wanted on an active warrant. When officers tried to arrest him, he attempted to escape, leading to a struggle before they finally handcuffed him.

Once in custody, a search revealed Damon allegedly in possession of several baggies containing a substance suspected to be a class A drug, in addition to rocks that appeared to be crack cocaine. His charges now include Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (using a shod foot), Possession of a Class A Substance with intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class B Substance, and Resisting Arrest, according to the Worcester Police.
