Man Dies in High-Speed Car Crash that Causes $1 Million in Damages to Pennsylvania DealershipSource: Google Street View

A high-speed crash has left one man dead and a car dealership with nearly $1 million in damages in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, involved Abeil Adilow, 27, of Philadelphia, who lost control of his vehicle and crashed into Bennett Toyota, causing substantial damage to the property and several vehicles on the lot. Adilow was pronounced dead shortly before 2 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, as reported by the CBS News Philadelphia.

Driving at a high rate of speed before veering off the road, Adilow's vehicle not only crashed through the dealership's parking lots but also damaged a Wawa exit sign nearby, with tire tracks found in the grass. Despite the catastrophic damage to dealership property, Bennett, president of Bennett Automotive Group, expressed his shock at the event, stating "I've never seen anything like this," and extending his condolences to Adilow's family in a statement obtained by WFMZ-TV.

The Allentown Police Traffic Safety Unit, in conjunction with the coroner's office, is conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. According to the police, Adilow's vehicle went airborne, flying over 100 feet before making its devastating landing on the dealership lot. The police encountered the aftermath of the wreck while on patrol around 1 a.m., rather than being alerted by a call, as 6abc reports.

Images from the scene show multiple vehicles damaged and one overturned. Both Bennett Toyota and Bennett Infiniti, which are part of the same automotive group, suffered extensive damage to cars and infrastructure, including a damaged display tent in the parking lot. According to Rob Bennett, getting airborne as he did and landing on one of our cars could have been worse, but his thoughts remained with the deceased's family, as he explained to WFMZ-TV.
