Expect an east wind breezing through at 9 to 13 mph, with possible gusts up to 18 mph. Come evening, the chance of rain picks back up slightly to 20 percent post 10 pm, and partly cloudy conditions are predicted with a low hovering around 74 alongside an east wind at about 10 mph.

As the locals in Miami plan their weekend, they should take note of the high risk for rip currents if hitting the beach, as well as a moderate chop on Biscayne Bay, a point underscored by NBC 6's weather team. Boating aficionados are advised to proceed with caution. And while the downpour takes a backseat, South Florida's notorious humidity isn't going anywhere, reminding everyone it's still springtime in the Sunshine State. Temperatures are kicking off in the low-70s inland and peaking in the upper-70s by the coastline, as reported by NBC Miami. 

The outlook into next week suggests the possibility of the mercury edging even higher, with predictions hinting at temperatures pushing the upper-80s to 90 by the week's end. This mostly rain-free pattern is set to prevail, giving those with plans to be outdoors less of a reason to fret over weather-induced disruptions. Saturday through Sunday introduces a 30 percent chance of showers intermittently throughout the day, mainly before 8 pm, with partly cloudy nights and consistent lows around 74.
