A tragic incident unfolded on Democrat Road Thursday night, where a two-car collision claimed the life of one individual and left two others wounded, as reported by Action News 5. The Memphis Police Department arrived on the scene near Southway Drive shortly after the incident at 9:18 pm where they found the victims.

Details provided by the Memphis Police Department to FOX13 Memphis indicate that, of the injured parties, one is in critical condition while the other sustained non-critical injuries. The accident occurred in the 3100 block of Democrat Road which is an area proximate to the airport.

Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved, as the investigation by the Memphis Police Department is ongoing.
