"Facade" Art Show: Opening Tonight at Place Pigalleflickr/moderndaymonster
Tonight at 7pm, San Francisco artist Aaron Hodges of the Lower Haight's Idle Hand Tattoo brings "Facade" to Place Pigalle (520 Hayes). With a curated collection of fine art and tattoo works from over 35 artists from the Bay Area and elsewhere, the show's theme deals with "a cross-section of industries."

According to the invitation, Aaron picked this theme because, "We all put on some degree of facade each day as we travel through life. Whether it's a conscious decision or not, it is something we all deal with. I am intrigued to see what each artist conveys and how." If the green beer isn't motivation enough to get you off the couch, then maybe the 37 featured artists of Facade will provide the nudge you need. We're told by the folks at Place Pigalle that it's shaping up to be a pretty big scene, so get there early. The event lasts from 7-11pm and we'll see you there.
