Outside Lands 2012: Day 2
Day Two is upon us. Feeling strong?

Yesterday brought us 120,000 feathers, 2 bear suits, 1 samurai sword, 700 dime bags, 4,000 Glo Sticks, and one lucky toddler getting swung around in a blanket by his mom, who was wearing a furry festival hat. Coolest parents ever. Bright lights in all the trees, carnival atmosphere, easygoing chaos, a chocolate pavilion, dense fog blowing over the fields and waves of sound washing up and down the park, spilling out into the avenues and up the length of the park into the Haight. It also brought us great performances by Of Monsters and Men, YACHT, Tennis, Neil Young and a bunch of others. It turns out the DJ tent is a lot of fun, if you catch it with a nice crowd inside and don't mind waiting a few minutes to get in. Today's highlights? For us it's: Geographer, the Kills, Explosions in the Sky, Thee Oh Sees. Sigur Ros is closing it down, too, if you're not feeling sleepy. Get back out there! Remember to hydrate and take naps.
