Believe it or not, in addition to Golden Gate Park's normal weekend shenaniganery, there's an Archery Tournament today at the archery field in the park (which, okay, is way out by the windmill - but still! it's a nice day for a walk). It's called Debardchery, and it's sort of like a mini ren-faire. Dress in medieval garb, watch the poetry competition (yes), bid on your favorite archer, and out-nerd everyone else in San Francisco this weekend. When you're done over there, cure your nerd hangover with a Morrissey and The Smiths dance party at Milk Bar at 9. Free if you RSVP, $5 at the door.
