Bronze Bunny Project Reaches $50,000 Goal
With 8 days to spare, the fundraising campaign for a permanent bronze statue of Jeremy Fish's silly pink bunny has exceeded its $50,000 goal.

As of this afternoon, 303 backers have committed $50,455 to the project, which means it will officially be funded. Fish will now construct a 10-foot-tall bronze statue of the bunny, which will be installed at the site of the new 55 Laguna housing development. (His original styrofoam bunny, of course, was destroyed in dramatic fashion last month.) Fish says he's not sure when work will get underway on the new statue, but rest assured we'll keep you posted.
