We received news from a Biscuit-tipster that the old Under One Roof location at 518A Castro Street is undergoing renovations. CityFeet.com lists the property as no longer available and one construction worker told our tipster that the location was to be a pharmacy. No details as of yet who the pharmacy is owned by, but it will be joining a plethora of other pharmacies in the neighborhood. Ironically, the previous tenant was a Proposition D campaign headquarters location. Prop D, which was passed by 80% of voters last November and is aimed at curbing the cost of pharmaceutical drugs purchased by the city.
